The Rituals of Atonement Suite

The traditional observances of the Sabbath and of the Jewish New Year holiday are accorded a special dimension when illuminated by the legendary and mystical traditions which are the legacy of our ancestors. The concept of ‘atonement’ may be interpreted as ‘at one-ment’ or the achievement of harmony with G-d. It is this spiritual essence which has inspired the Rituals Of Atonement Suite. Each image in this collection of four black and white etchings with Aquatint (acid etched halftones) was pulled in a limited edition of 25 on 22" x 30" archival D’Arches paper. These etchings were produced in the spring of 1975. Each limited edition etching is priced at $200.
