Shtetl at Shabbos
The concept of `Shtetl At Shabbos' is one for which the artist holds a special fondness, since it symbolizes her development as both an artist and as a Jew. Here, with the glowing colors of the sunset, she evokes the magical beauty and peace of the Sabbath in this imaginary, Eastern European village. As the tiny family makes its way towards the light of the synagogue, at the onset of the Sabbath, they become an illustration of the Jewish spirit; always evolving, always seeking those connections that bind together the tapestry of humanity.
